A SMALL, AFFORDABLE ROBOTICS KIT DESGINED TO FOSTER INTEREST IN STEM.
RoBox was created by a team of 7 students from Westlake High School — working together to create a very low-cost, take-home robotics kit. Setting out to do so in May of 2017, they are set to teach their first week-long camp in late July. Afterwards, they aim to develop the final product, before taking it to market.
The RoBox kit aims to be extremely affordable, while still giving students the opportunity to build, program, and customize their own bot! The kit features two motors, a "Romeo BLE Mini" board, several sensors, and a drag-and-drop programming interface with a variety of programming challenges.
