RoBox was conceived, designed, and developed by members of FRC2468. Thanks to all of the kids who attended RoBox camps and to the parents who taught them the love of STEM!

A SMALL, AFFORDABLE ROBOTICS KIT DESGINED TO FOSTER INTEREST IN STEM.

About

RoBox was created by a team of 7 students from team FRC2468 at Westlake High School — working together to create a very low-cost, take-home robotics kit. Setting out to do so in May of 2017, they taught their first week-long camp in late July 2017. Last summer, they are putting on a third week-long camp at NXP with more than twice the number of campers they have had ever! The team has morphed over the last three years as the team has gone to college and new members have joined. We now have 10 on the team.

The RoBox kit aims to be extremely affordable, while still giving students the opportunity to build, program, and customize their own bot! The kit features two motors, an Arduino board, several sensors, and a drag-and-drop programming interface with a variety of programming challenges.
